New Icons for SharpDevelop

Thanks to Yusuke Kamiyamane's Fugue Icons, and icons created and remixed by Michael Seeger, SharpDevelop 4.2 has a new look. A selection of before and after screenshots are shown below:

I kind of like the new icon set. Now, what I still miss is a different style for the menu and toolbar, because the default (generic) style isn't particularly good, and it shouldn't be too hard to change that. For example, Visual Studio 2010 did a good job on that, although some people don't like the colorization, and except for some dialog windows which just look not well architected.

I found an issue in current alpha builds featuring the new icon set: The icons in the member list of the text editor, as well as in the completion window, seem to lack of a transparent background and have a white backdrop.

I like some of the icons but not others.

* the "new file" icon blends into the background

* I don't know why the "save all" has 2 disks when the standard is 3; it looks like it might do something different than save all.

* the "cut" icon ends up looking blurry.  A lot of the glassy icons give the entire toolbar a blurry impression

* it's difficult to see the green circle of arrows in the "Refresh" icon

* the "start detached" button is a welcome change

* really like the class icons

* I prefer the old, non-outlined bookmark icons

If it's not already known, anyone can use icons from the Visual Studio Image Library for free (blogs.msdn.com/.../tips-and-tricks-visual-studio-2010-image-library.aspx), though I don't know how that jives with the #D license

@Andrew Olson: Wow, I didn't know that such an image library existed within the VS2010 distribution. There's a bunch of nice icons in there, but I think what prevents them from being used in SharpDevelop is their unclear licensing type: Microsoft states these images are free to use, but there is no hint on which license applies to the image library. I was quickly looking for an answer via Google but didn't come up with anything helpful at all. Just writing in some blog "they are free to use" without telling how they are licensed isn't a pretty reliable legal statement...
