    Error occurs when adding background image in ironruby

    When I add background image to my form in ironruby I got this error messages:

     

     

    mscorlib:0:in `HandleResourceStreamMissing': Could not find any resources approp

    riate for the specified culture or the neutral culture.  Make sure "labs.MainFor

    m.resources" was correctly embedded or linked into assembly "ir" at co

    mpile time, or that all the satellite assemblies required are loadable and fully

     signed. (System::Resources::MissingManifestResourceException)

    Please help me, I can't add any images in my windows forms, how can I get rid of this? Thanks

    Unfortunately the forms designer will generate code that assumes that the image will be compiled into your application's exe. IronRuby does not support this.

    The current work around is to not use the forms designer and load the images via code. There is an example on how to do this with IronPython form resources which you should be able to convert to IronRuby.
