    Error Messages in IronPython

I have just started to use SharpDevelop with IronPython. I wish to develop WPF programs in .NET.  In general it seems like a good way to go. BUT When I build a program that has a syntax error the ipy window just flashes up very fast and is gone before I can read the error. SharpDevelop says "Build finished succesfully." whether it has or not.

Is there a way to capture these messages?

    Thanks

Selecting Run without debugger from the Python menu in SharpDevelop 4 will leave the console window open until you press a key.

    Re: Error Messages in IronPython

    Matt.

Thank you for the tip. I did'nt realise that the '!' button on the toolbar was different to the '!' menu item on the Python menu.

I have, though, found that the Python '!' does not auto save the files in the editor. This fooled me for a bit!

Thanks that has helped me a lot.

    Steve
