    Form designer spoils form layout

I have a form with several controls

    Panel (Dock=Top,MaximumHeight=70,MinimumHeight=70)

    TablelayoutPanel (Dock=Fill)

    Label    ComboBox

    Label    ComboBox

    TreeView (Dock=Fill)

After I created the form it is look like this:

I switch to Code Tab, then switch back to Design Tab and I see that layout was changed. After 3 or 4 switches I see my layout like this:

Why that happened? Why Designer overwrite my MinimumHeight property of panel and how can I prevent that strange behavior?

Re: Form designer spoils form layout

the problem you are describing seems to be this known bug. Could you please try if installing .NET 4.5 solves the problem for you?

Please be aware that installing .NET 4.5 completely replaces .NET 4.0. If you want to downgrade to .NET 4.0 afterwards, you have to uninstall .NET 4.5 and then run a fresh install of .NET 4.0. Hence I would recommend testing the case in a non-production environment.

    Thanks for your cooperation!
