How to extend AvalonEdit.TextArea to support active WikiLinks

    Hi,

we love AvalonEdit and use it extensively in our project. We customized the syntax highlighting quite a bit and managed to highlight error-lines.

Now we want to extend the TextArea-class with the following features:

    1. Hyperlinks (e.g. "http://bla.com") are automatically turned into link-entities.  But nothing happens if you click on them. Any ideas how we can hook a click-handler that opens the link in a browser?

    2. The default link-color is a dark blue. Which is hardly readable on our theme. I can't find where this color is defined.

    3. For the internal documentation, we want to implement wiki-like linking mechanism: Whenever you type [something] in square brackets it should become a link. Clicking on this link would call a handler that opens the respective items, or creates it.

Any pointers, on where to start implementing this?

    Thanks for the great work!

    tom
